ABOUT MELife Story of a wedding photographer

Dear guest,

I am delighted to welcome you on my website!

My name is Elena and I am a fine art film wedding photographer. I moved to Luxembourg almost 4 years ago to get married to the love of my life. I keep discovering this beautiful country every day and find inspiration here in so many ways!

I developed a passion for photography in university, where I was studying journalism. If I was to name what inspires me the most in my work, it would be the play of shadow and light in impressionist paintings, majestic and eternally classic Renaissance architecture and the elegance of style icons from the 60s and 70s. All of those you can see reflected in my photographs – I carefully style each session from helping you to choose the best location, attire and details to prepare a perfect setting to capture your emotions. As Dostoyevsky said “Beauty will save the world”.

I am very passionate about my work. I take photos of weddings, engagement and anniversary sessions in Luxembourg and worldwide, collaborate with brands for editorial projects and enjoy being a part of the creative photography community. I am very much involved in all my projects from the planning stage, because it allows me to be in control of the final image and make sure that you, as a client, are happy with the result. I provide style consultations and can even go shopping with you before the photoshoot to make sure your attire will be perfect for what we envisioned. Over the recent years I have had a chance to work with a team of skilled vendors and I will happily recommend them to you depending on the service you are looking for, be it a wedding location, make-up artist, wedding planner etc.

If you are getting married, I will propose you to meet, either personally or via Skype. Getting to know you will help me to understand,  which images you will value the most and how to capture them. I love working with people regardless of their experience in front of the camera – it’s my job to make you feel comfortable and relaxed and take photos you hired me for. Last but not least – please take your time to go through my portfolio. If you like my work and feel like we are on the same wavelength, feel free to reach out to me for an exciting new collaboration.
